Practitioners from SSMC were integral in developing the athlete care program for the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games. They also filled many roles at the Games including Head of Athlete Care, Head of Clinical Services, and Senior Physiotherapist in the PolyClinic Physiotherapy Unit. Others were directly involved with many of the Australian Teams and individual athletes.

Sydney Sports Medicine Centre relocated and expanded in recent years, with new facilities and services with an increased capacity for all of the disciplines. There is no injury too big, too small or too complicated, and whilst many of our patients are athletes, we apply the same assessment formula, patient care and the benefits of our practice to all patients.
