Dr Jonathan Mulford is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in all aspects of knee surgery. He performs all types of knee surgery including key-hole surgery, ligament reconstructions and joint replacements. He has a particular interest in sports knee injuries, ligament reconstructions, patellofemoral disorders and treatment for early arthritis.

He has a strong interest in clinical research and was awarded a Diploma in Clinical Trials from the University of London in 2008. He has several publications in his areas of interest. He is heavily involved in teaching through his appointment at Prince of Wales Public Hospital and has participated in the Orthopaedic Outreach program to the Solomon Islands.

He also has a strong interest in wrist surgery. He performs all types of wrist surgery including wrist arthroscopy, fixation of wrist fractures (distal radius and scaphoid) and carpal tunnel releases. He also manages orthopaedic trauma, including internal fixation of all types of fractures.

Dr Jonathan Mulford graduated from the University of Tasmania with Honours in 1995. He completed his orthopaedic training in Sydney in 2005. He has travelled internationally to North America and Europe to work with world leaders in the fields of knee, wrist and trauma surgery.
