Sydney Sports Medicine Centre is a privately operated, multi-disciplinary practice encompassing all aspects of Sports Medicine. The Centre assesses and treats recreational and elite level athletes as well as non-athletic and workplace injuries.

The Centre is strategically located at the site of the 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games and is committed to providing excellence in Sports Medicine.

The Centre assesses and treats patients of all ages and, where appropriate, a cross discipline team approach can be used for management.

The Centre is also committed to continuing education. Patient education is regarded with the utmost importance, and the Centre is utilised for the teaching and training of Sports Physician Registrars and Physiotherapists.

Practitioners

Practitioners from the Centre were integral in developing the athlete care program for the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games. They also filled many roles at the Games including Head of Athlete Care, Head of Clinical Services, and Senior Physiotherapist in the PolyClinic Physiotherapy Unit. Others were directly involved with many of the Australian Teams.
